Hi Charles:

Would you happen to know or any of the other readers of your blog know anything
about a restaurant/lounge that was out by where the future Butler Co. Community
College would be built?  My father mentioned the name of it and on the Butler
Facebook page someone said it was called
Benchuck's and there might well have
been someplace there called that.  But my father called it something else, and I think
it was a totally different name.  I can't remember and it really has been one of those
things that keeps nagging at me.  If I get a chance I might try to research the City
Directory or the old Butler phone books.  Maybe someone will know it, but I think it
was there anywhere from the 1930's to the 1950's. People keep saying to me
Mama
Rosa's
.  I've been around long enough to have heard of it.  I'm not sure if whatever
the name of the place was did last until the 1960's, but I am truly hoping someone
can come up with the name of it. I do not believe it was on Rt. 8.  It was back in the
Oak Hills area somewhere.

Sincerely,
Aryl Bashline
